Task 4.- Let´s study pronunciation and vocabulary with Kate....

This is the second entry for eavesdropping. Some of your classmates sent their contributions. Now you have the chance to make a presentation with the words you studied with Kate.

Task 3.- Sports and Games

To approach this task you should read the glossary. Go to the pbwork and read it to make sure you know the meanings of difficult words.

Then go to Google maps and find the Coliseum and the Circus Maximus in Rome. Read again the similarities and differences between the circus and the coliseum.

Try to make a comparison and post it.

Task 2.- Chapter 6: The Roman Army

Hi class! You have read chapter 6 and have done a good job during the lesson with Kate. Now, you are supposed to be able to write a summary about the chapter. As far as I know, every group read one of the three parts and altogether listened to the others explanations. So we´re sure you can write 3 or 4 sentences about every of the five paragraph. You can have a look at he glossary to fix meanings and pronunciation.

First of all, it would be nice if you read the older comments and revise the knowledge about The Romans. You should remember the writing steps and prepare your production carefully. Take in account what you should/shouldn´t do to write a comment.

Read chapters 3 and 4.

Go to the workspace and open the new ppt by Tina:Writing: summarize what you have learnt about the life in the Ancient Rome.

follow the steps for a good writing: outline (introduction, body and conclussion).
Don't forget to mention:

• rich and poor people
• citizens
• the head of the house
• slaves
